You can use the HSG-600-ED twin contact welder to weld contacts onto both sides of the carrier tape at the same time and at any angle up to 180° – in a welding station.
The innovative solution (EU patent 03450047.0) requires just one welding control. Furthermore, two electrodes are saved. Adhesion to the lower electrode is also ruled out because there is only contact through the precious metal.
Two contact cuts can be simultaneously fed independently on the upper and lower sides of the carrier tape and welded lying facing each other in unison. The two welders are operated independently of one another for this.
The contact cut is held only by the electrode during the welding – the environment is vacant. So undesirable shunts are an impossibility.
The electrodes are cooled or uncooled electrode wheels with up to 32 work surfaces. The electrode wheels can be turned or replaced from the front without any difficulty.
The HSG-600-ED essentially consists of two modified contact welders type 600-E. They may also be temporarily disconnected and operated separately (with two additional lower electrode units).
Curve controlled sequences ensure superb welding quality even with rapid work processes.
You can shift production in the blink of an eye using the proven quick change cassette system for different contact weld wires or contact weld profile tapes.
