VSG-800-E
Vertical welder for wire contacts

We specifically developed the VSG-800-E contact welder for those contacts that have to be welded vertically.

It is, in fact, the only contact welder from SBT that only permits the processing of wire but it can really be a useful expansion to your production spectrum: By numerous contact types that cannot be produced with horizontal welders.

Specifics in the process

The basic principle and operating sequence of the VSG-800-E are based on the HSG-600-E.

The wire is cut off by cutting elements on the inside.
The contact cut is placed under a flat electrode wheel and welded.

The contact cut is fixed in place by the electrode during the welding process. Since the welding environment is vacant the undesirable shunts are impossible as well.

Efficiency in production

Curve controlled sequences ensure superb welding quality even with rapid work processes.

You can shift production in the blink of an eye using the proven quick change cassette system for different contact weld wires or contact weld profile tapes.
