The new servo stamping machine from SBT is a lucrative further development of the existing systems. The entire structure was thoroughly modernized and designed to be larger so specifically expanding the spectrum of use. The machine now offers many new features for flexible production sequences (including but not limited to contact welding!) and satisfies the highest demands so far as economic efficiency and precision are concerned - with production speeds of 30 to 250 cycles/minute.
The bronze supports of the plunger were replaced with four guide posts and ball cage guides so the precision of the stamping is increased tremendously. The installation height for stamping mold tools was upgraded to 295 mm (UT) for the execution of special applications such as contact welding and a mold ventilator can be integrated if desired.
The sequence control is now significantly more precise and more effective than with the conventional stamping machines and targets higher production rates overall. For example, through the integrated mold tool monitoring or a servo regulator for the tape feed. The integration of a servo controlled welding drive is provided by the works and the customer can request that it be put into effect if necessary.
The electronic hand wheel, used to individually test and operate the work sequences, is new and unique in stamping to date.
