Which CAD programs do you work with and which drawing formats are you able to provide?

CoCreate Drafting (ME10) is used in the 2D area and we are able to provide you with drawings in .mi, .dwg and .dxf formats.

Can your welders also be integrated with existing equipment?

Yes. Our welders are equipped with a servo drive and can therefore be incorporated into any existing control system. We would need an angular transmitter.

Is it also possible to integrate the SBT modules into existing equipment?

Yes. Since the SBT modules are driven by a servomotor they can be integrated into existing equipment with very little effort and expense.

What control system components are you using?

We use control system components from Sigmatek.

Do your machines have product data acquisition?

The welding control systems can be coupled with product data acquisition in response to a customer request. The actual machine has data acquisition or more precisely the mold tool and/or production data is also logged.

Can your machines be inspected by remote maintenance?

We are able to access our machines through telemaintenance when they are connected to the internet. There is an interface on the machine.

What drawings do we receive with delivery?

All drawings that contain data specific to the customer product are released with delivery.

How is the availability of replacement parts?

Electronic and mechanical wearing parts are in stock at SBT and depending on distance can be supplied within three business days maximum.

How is the machine serviced?

A lubrication chart for the machine and the module is included in the machine documentation. The machine and the module are serviced according to this.

Who are your key accounts?

The SBT customers are the suppliers to the electronics and automotive industry, primarily in conjunction with contact welding technology. However, we also have customers in medical device engineering and telecommunications technology. The reason for this being the versatile applicability of our products.

Is it possible to link Stanzbiegetechnik machines with an ERP system?

SBT machines can be fitted with a barcode scanner. The production data can then be reported back through a text file. Network integration is required as the connection.

How are your machines integrated into our network?

The machines come with an Ethernet interface. As a result the machines can be assigned an IP address.

Is it possible to work with the SBT machines in autonomous mode?

The machines can work in autonomous mode when the basic conditions such as autonomous power supply, box changers, supply of materials, etc. are there.

Is a specially qualified staff necessary to operate your machines?

No, specialized personnel are not required. Only a few instruction sessions are necessary for operation of the machines and to changeover the module.

What significant advantages do SBT machines offer compared with traditional stamping bending machines and presses?

SBT machines function as a platform for stamping, bending, pressing, welding modules, etc. As a result of the modularity the modules can be set up and combined depending on the manufacturing requirement and therefore are not dependent on process sequences and processes techniques.
